The role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursing Lecturer to support the launch and delivery of our new Nursing Degree Apprenticeship Programme (Adult and Mental Health) commencing in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a new programme that will widen access to nursing education and support the future healthcare workforce.

Balancing academic rigour with practical relevance, you will work closely with students, colleagues, and healthcare partners to deliver a high-quality, innovative apprenticeship experience.

About you

  • Be a current NMC registered Adult Nurse.
  • Hold a teaching qualification aligned to Lecturer B level (or equivalent) (e.g. PGCertHE or equivalent).
  • Have demonstrable experience in running, delivering, or coordinating nursing apprenticeship programmes.
  • Have experience of supporting students in both academic and practice settings.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with external partners, including NHS and care providers.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a commitment to high-quality teaching, student support, and professional standards.
