Opportunity Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and forward‑thinking Adult Nursing Simulation and Skills Teacher to join our innovative School of Health & Society. We are seeking an enthusiastic, student‑centred educator with a strong commitment to high‑quality simulated practice learning. You will bring creativity, confidence, and a collaborative approach to designing and delivering immersive learning experiences that prepare our nursing students for real‑world clinical practice. This role is ideal for an Adult field of practice NMC‑registered nurse who enjoys working with learners, and is motivated by shaping the future of mental health nursing education.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, deliver and facilitate high‑quality simulated practice learning across nursing programmes.
  • Support students to develop safe, evidence‑based clinical skills using role play, high‑fidelity environments and specialist equipment.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative learning resources and simulation scenarios.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive, supportive feedback to enhance learning.
  • Work collaboratively with academic and technical colleagues to ensure simulation activities align with programme outcomes and professional standards.
