About the Role
The postholder will lead and deliver high-quality, internationally competitive research focused on ageing, frailty, multimorbidity, rehabilitation, or the care of older people, while contributing to teaching and curriculum development within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health.
This 0.5 FTE academic role is designed to support a portfolio career. Where appropriate, flexibility will be offered to enable ongoing clinical sessions in primary care or public health.

The Academic Centre for Healthy Ageing (ACHA) is a £6 million collaboration between Barts Health NHS Trust and QMUL, based at Whipps Cross Hospital. It aims to transform care for older people through applied research in frailty prevention, rehabilitation, dementia and mental health, embedding research within frontline services. You will join our senior academic team which comprises professors in care of older people, liaison psychiatry and orthopeadics. By combining multidisciplinary expertise with powerful electronic health data resources, ACHA seeks to generate practice-changing evidence and build a world-class workforce focused on healthy ageing.
