CPRD Research Applications Officer

We are currently looking for an experienced Research Applications Officer and Data to join our Clinical Practice Research Datalink function in the Safety and Surveillance group.

Within a week of working here, your day could look like this: to support the research applications process, providing administrative support across the Observational Research team, and secretariat support to review and advisory committees.

Responsibilities include liaising with and providing advice to researchers about the research data governance process; supporting the review process and data governance requirements; providing secretariat support for meetings; and reporting against key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to research applications.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level qualification or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Highly organised with close attention to detail
• Excellent writing skills, proficient at regularly drafting coherent, comprehensive and accurate documents, reports and briefs
• Experience of providing secretariat support, including meeting coordination, minute taking, and record keeping
• Capable of managing multiple tasks to a high standard within target deadlines
• Previous experience of undertaking or managing the review of research applications, protocols or manuscripts.
