Verto is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the onsite academic leader at the study center. The anticipated title for the position is Assistant Academic Director, though alternative titles such as Assistant/Associate Academic Director or Academic Manager may be considered based on educational qualifications and professional experience. The Assistant / Associate Academic Director oversees the coordination, planning, quality, and delivery of all onsite academic programming. This role provides day-to-day academic leadership and ensures the learning environment is rigorous, engaging, and supportive, fostering strong academic outcomes for participants. The Academic Leader ensures that academic programming, faculty, and staff comply with Verto policies, the standards of its Academic Provider/School of Record, and broader expectations of academic excellence in teaching and learning.
The Assistant / Associate Academic Director reports directly to the Program Director for day-to-day academic program management and onsite implementation of academic affairs. The role also maintains a secondary reporting line to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and works closely with the global Academic Affairs Headquarters team. Collaboration includes strategic planning, academic development, operational management, faculty and staff oversight, and support for participant academic success and advising. In partnership with stakeholders across the organization, the Academic Leader helps cultivate a positive and transformative learning environment for students and faculty.
