The University of Liverpool is expanding its global reach and influence as a key pillar of its Liverpool 2031 strategy.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, International Government Relations. This is an outward facing role, helping to manage and strengthen the University’s strategic engagement with government stakeholders and funding bodies in the UK and overseas.
You will be a skilled relationship builder, experienced to navigate complex political landscapes, influence decision-makers and identify opportunities to advance our global mission based on your understanding of international policy and regulatory environments.
Acting as a senior advisor to internal leaders, you will help shape strategic opportunities, anticipate policy shifts, and ensure that government‑related partnership activity is coordinated, well‑governed, and delivered to a high standard.
This post will report to the Director, Global Engagement and Partnerships, part of the External Relations Group, and is a foundational leadership appointment to the newly established Directorate.
