We are seeking a strategic designer with expertise in UX and service design to lead our Innovation Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on helping people navigate complexity, unlock fresh thinking, and turn challenges into impactful ideas.
Based at STEAMhouse, you will lead a team of two Innovation Managers and drive the development of innovative products, services, programmes and strategies that support businesses and social purpose organisations. You will combine online and offline innovation approaches, ensuring our work is insight-driven, collaborative and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
