Teaching Associate in Business & Digital Marketing

Location: Manchester (Old Trafford, Business School and Manchester United)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a Teaching Associate in business & digital marketing to join our growing World of Business team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching and supporting students in developing the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to succeed in their studies and future careers.

The Role

As a Teaching Associate at UA92, you will play an important role in delivering and supporting engaging learning experiences that inspire students and help them succeed academically and professionally.

You will contribute to teaching delivery, student support and assessment activities while helping to create a positive and collaborative learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Teaching & Learning

  • Deliver Lectures, workshops, tutorials and practical learning sessions across Business and Digital Marketing modules

  • Support the delivery of engaging teaching activities that align with module learning outcomes

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of learning materials and teaching approaches

  • Use digital learning technologies to support student engagement and accessibility

Student Experience

  • Act as a key point of contact for students within teaching sessions

  • Support students’ academic and personal development

  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and student voice

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the academic team

  • Share good practice and contribute to continuous improvement in teaching and learning

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated to support student learning and contribute to an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Essential

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject with relevant professional or academic experience

  • Experience of teaching in Higher Education or the ability to do so

  • Experience using digital tools or learning technologies to support student engagement

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • The ability to engage and support diverse learner groups

  • A commitment to equality, diversity and student wellbeing
