The Medical Research Council Centre of Research Excellence (MRC CoRE) in Restorative Neural Dynamics is an ambitious new flagship research and innovation enterprise that is focused on harnessing the moment-to-moment interactions between nerve cells (‘neural dynamics’) to transform medical device-based therapies for brain conditions.
We are seeking a Reproach Culture Facilitator who can work collaboratively with researchers and a wide range of other stakeholders to support and coordinate the delivery of research culture activity within this exciting large-scale venture.
You will join the MRC CoRE’s Operational Support Team and play key roles in supporting delivery of the CoRE’s challenge-led mission through coordination, implementation and monitoring of research culture and EDI activity. You will work closely with academic leadership and professional colleagues and support the effective administration and coordination of research culture-related activity across the multisite MRC CoRE. You will be a knowledgeable source of advice and support in areas important to the MRC CoRE’s research culture, and a proactive problem-solver within an agreed remit. You will contribute to the embedding and dissemination of best practice and innovations that promote a positive, inclusive and enabling research culture.
This is a diverse and evolving role requiring excellent skills in coordination, organisation, communication and relationship-building. You will have experience of working in a research-intensive university (or in a directly comparable environment), supporting programmes, projects or initiatives, and contributing to effective service delivery in a complex organisational setting. You will adept at building consensus and collaborative relationships, and will have the interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across academia, industry, and the third and public sectors.
For informal enquiries, please contact Professor Charlotte Stagg, MRC CoRE Associate Director, at charlotte.stagg@ndcn.ox.ac.uk
