The Student Fees and Funding team is a friendly and supportive team of around 35 staff. We manage central fee processes and administer a wide range of financial support for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including scholarships, bursaries, loan programmes, international schemes, and central financial assistance. We work closely with colleges and departments across the University to ensure students can pursue and succeed in their studies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to widening access and supporting student success at Oxford.

The Student Funding Administrator will lead on the administration of the Crankstart Scholarship Programme, supporting over 1,500 undergraduate Scholars through bursary provision and coordinating with colleagues on volunteering and internship opportunities. You will also act as the administrative lead for targeted funding schemes, including support for care-experienced and estranged students, and assist with the administration of Oxford’s bursary package and other financial assistance schemes.

The role involves providing clear, accurate, and empathetic guidance to prospective and current students, as well as to colleges and University staff. You will play a key part in ensuring funding processes run efficiently and that students receive the support they need.

About You

You will have strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a demonstrable commitment to teamwork.

You should have strong IT skills, good numeracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care and empathy. A genuine interest in student funding and higher education is important, as is a commitment to supporting students from a range of backgrounds.

This role does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa. We are therefore unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
