Job Description:
We are seeking a Student Experience Officer to play a central role in supporting the academic journey and wellbeing of students at St Mary’s University School of Medicine (SoM). Working closely with the SoM Academic and Partnerships & Engagement Teams, this role will provide high quality pastoral and academic support, working collaboratively with staff across the wider university to support the journey of Medicine students during their time at St Mary’s.
Duties will include managing the SoM personal academic tutor system, planning SoM specific student inductions and related materials, oversight of student attendance and progress, management of mandatory non academic course requirements (Occupational Health checks, DBS checks and training) and the provision of committee secretariat support to SoM based meetings.
