Location: RDM Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, OX3 9DU
We are looking for a friendly, organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff at OCMR. You will manage the reception desk, handle phone and email enquiries, support room bookings and deliveries, and provide general administrative support to both the department and a busy clinical service.
You should be educated to A level (or equivalent), confident using Outlook, Word and Excel, and able to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people. You will need excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to stay calm and organised while managing multiple tasks. Empathy, reliability, and a commitment to providing a high standard of service to patients are essential.
Previous experience in a similar role or in a University/NHS setting is desirable.
This is a variable hours appointment on a fixed-term contract, based at the University of Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR), John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
