Warwick Employment Group (WEG) is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the strategic design and transformation of our enterprise cloud infrastructure. This is a pivotal role shaping WEG’s long‑term cloud roadmap and ensuring our digital services remain secure, scalable, and future‑focused.
As our Cloud Architect, you will develop and implement an enterprise-level cloud strategy that transitions our existing on‑premise and cloud environments into a modern, cost‑effective, and resilient infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions that impact services used by more than 50,000 customers.
You will lead the planning and delivery of new system requirements, cloud economics, compliance standards, and architecture governance, while also supporting development and test teams during project delivery. Your work will contribute directly to the WEG Cloud Technology Roadmap and long-term organisational planning.
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in AWS infrastructure architecture, cloud security and resilience, DevOps and CI/CD practices, and the ability to design and implement technical architecture models aligned to strategic goals. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at senior levels are essential. Experience managing suppliers, customer relationships, and strategic IT change is highly desirable.
This role includes supervision of DevOps and Application Consultant team members and requires proactive, autonomous working with minimal oversight.
If you’re ready to drive cloud transformation across an ambitious organisation with sector‑wide impact, we’d love to hear from you.
