About our team - Mō te tīma
The Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Dunedin, teaches all areas of pathology to students in years 2 to 5 of the MB ChB programme, as well as students from other health professional and biomedical sciences programmes.
The role - Te mahi
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Professional Practice Fellow with experience in anatomical pathology to join our Department. In this role, you will provide leadership and teaching into each of the programmes listed above.
This Dunedin-based role will include preparation and modification of pathology teaching material, providing guidance to non-expert tutors, and delivery of the material. Most of the teaching is delivered in a small group format but also includes lecture delivery and contributions to laboratory sessions.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), permanent position available from mid-2026. This role is based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
The salary range for a medically-qualified Senior Professional Practice Fellow is $109,554 - $184,993 per annum. The successful candidate will be appointed to an appropriate level based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
