London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Mental Health. The Mental Health courses, at London South Bank University, are ranked in the top15 courses in the UK. Our students are placed at hospitals in and across London and the South East. About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • NMC qualified Mental Health Nurse (1 post) and a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (1 post). Significant experience of working in Mental Health and/or Learning Disability nursing practice is essential.
  • Teaching experience either in Higher Education or in practice education: teaching qualification desirable at Lecturer but essential at Senior Lecturer.
  • A good honours degree in a relevant subject.
  • Be able to work autonomously and take ownership of areas of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with significant experience of working with Mental Health/ Learning Disability patients, have a passion for teaching and bring a thorough understanding of either Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing to the department.
