The University of Gloucestershire are looking for an Independent Assessor to support and undertake the end-point assessment of apprentices on the undergraduate Digital and Technology Solutions Professional standard., with specialisms in the following areas: Software Engineering, Network Engineer, Cyber Security and Data Analyst.
Ideally candidates will be comfortable across all areas enabling them to assess any apprenticeship pathway. Assessors must have no links to the training delivery of the Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship Employers or apprentices themselves. Applications will be reviewed for any conflict of interest.
IndependentAssessors will be responsible for:

Contract: Part time hourly paid
Location: Park Campus, University of Gloucestershire. The University adopts a hybrid working environment with some campus and home working.
To complete this role you must currently live and have the right to work in the UK.
Allocation: 6 hours per apprentice which covers required preparation, the EPA assessment, and required documentation, number of allocated apprentices to be confirmed.
Duration of appointment: This appointment is initially for a period of 1 academic year. The appointment will be reviewed by the University on an annual basis.
EPA dates: EPA scheduled for w/c 27th July 2026.

IA Training: Online Training will be provided by University of Gloucestershire for new independent assessors.
