This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and open ended.
The University of Glasgow is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Business Analytics within the Adam Smith Business School.
We are seeking candidates in the area of Business Analytics, with particular interest in those applying machine learning and deep learning methods to business domains, such as HR analytics, marketing analytics, and operations analytics.
The successful candidates will undertake research of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to the discipline Business Analytics and, where appropriate, the broader Management Subject; contribute to the development of theory and practice in Business Analytics; and develop and progress individual/joint research projects of international standard in Business Analytics with the support of a mentor, as required.
For appointment at Grade 8, the successful candidates will pursue and deliver independent research proposals and/or collaborative research projects, project managing research activities, supervising and taking responsibility for the research team; make a substantial contribution to developing and enhancing the research profile of the School/College; and take a lead in the on-going development and design of the curriculum in a manner which supports a research-led and scholarly approach to student learning and assessment, making a substantial contribution to the teaching and learning activities within the School.
