This is a great opportunity for a new Senior Therapist to join the University’s Student Services.
This role supports the University in promoting student wellbeing by ensuring access to resources and services that help students achieve their academic goals. The Counselling & Wellbeing Team assists students in developing skills to manage and maintain their mental health throughout their studies.
You will provide ‘One at a Time (OAAT)’ appointments, short therapy blocks, and specialised ongoing support for students with a wide range of wellbeing challenges.
Working both autonomously and within a team, you will conduct mental health assessments and deliver tailored short‑model interventions. You will offer therapeutic support individually and in groups, and, as Senior Therapist, assess and intervene with students at risk—such as those presenting with suicidal ideation—while liaising with external services when appropriate.
This post is full time and open ended (permanent).
