Applications are invited for a Finance Operations Officer, to work in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences (NDPCHS) Finance Team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this post offers an excellent opportunity to combine sound operational experience with line management responsibilities and provides good scope for career development.
You will line manage two Finance Administrators (2 FTE) and a Finance Assistant (0.4 FTE) and be the primary contact on day-to-day matters; ensuring excellent service delivery regarding management of payments to internal and external colleagues.
The successful applicant will bring a positive, solution-oriented approach, leading by example to embed process improvements together with the team. You will have good knowledge of the P2P and expense functions, and experience of working in a relevant financial operations role. You will be expected to role model the behaviours of team-working, communication and relationship management throughout all areas of your work.
You will be based in the Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
The position is a permanent post which is offered on a full-time basis but requests to work part time (minimum of 0.8 FTE) are welcomed.
