Are you an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and delivering excellent service? We're looking for an HR Business Support Administrator to join our People & Organisational Development (POD) Business Support Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting senior leaders, coordinating departmental operations, and helping deliver strategic HR projects across the University.
About the Role
As our HR Business Support Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our POD operations. You'll be the first point of contact, ensuring our office environment runs efficiently and professionally. You'll support the Deputy Chief People Officer (DCPO) and their direct reports with high‑quality administrative support, diary coordination, meeting organisation and minute taking.
You'll also play a pivotal role in key departmental activity including onboarding new colleagues in POD, maintaining Health & Safety compliance, managing procurement requests, and keeping our intranet pages up to date. Alongside day‑to‑day operations, you'll contribute to strategic HR projects, working with colleagues across the wider POD team to support planning, monitoring and reporting.
This is a varied and highly visible role that requires excellent organisation, strong communication skills, and confidence handling sensitive information.
