Summary
We are seeking a Lecturer to join our Keele-BFSU MA in Education Technology & AI for the 40005-Research Methods & 40007-Dissertation modules, delivering UK postgraduate courses in Beijing, starting in July 2026. This is the inaugural year of our new dual-degree programme, attracting academic and professional students looking to stay at the cutting edge of technology and education. Details of Position
The position is a July – May post based in Beijing with a total teaching load of 100 active teaching hours. The modules include both formative and summative assessment, as well as associated marking responsibilities. The lecturer will work with colleagues to plan and deliver the modules as well as support students.
The role requires teaching, assessment, and course management skills, making sure students have a positive and successful experience. The lecturer will support students in developing their research and academic writing skills
Applicants should have experience supporting postgraduates through the full research cycle, from designing research questions and methodologies to final dissertations. Experience supervising dissertations or with Educational Technology research is desirable.
Flexible employment terms will be considered based on personal circumstances, including flying faculty, part-time, or full-time employment.
Qualifications
We require a relevant PhD with ideally two years’ teaching experience.
Candidates with a background in teaching Education and Technology are also encouraged to apply.
