Post Summary
The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies (SLLCS) seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Russian Studies with a specialisation in Business Communication. This appointment is essential to the continued delivery and strategic development of the teaching and research activities of the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies, and by extension, of the School as a whole.
The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s existing teaching activities and will assume an important coordinating role at an administrative level. In addition, the appointee will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of new modules aligned with their areas of expertise.
The potential candidate will be expected to teach and coordinate core modules, including Russian Language for Business (Advanced Level), Contemporary Russian Society (with a focus on socio-economic and political developments), supervision of Case Study Projects, and Russian Language for Advanced Learners, particularly near native and heritage speakers.

Salary: Appointment will be made on Assistant Professor Salary Scale (109) commensurate with qualifications/experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy [€43,425 to €103,582 per annum] monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
