Content Writer

Do you love turning complicated ideas into content that people actually want to read? Do you get an unreasonable amount of satisfaction from a sharp headline, a punchy intro, or a call to action that actually calls to action?

We’re looking for a Content Writer who brings clarity, creativity and purpose to everything they write. Someone who understands that great content is about people, what they need, how they think and why they should care. You know how to get people to open that email. Scroll down on that web page. What you’ll be doing

• Writing engaging, on-brand content for web, campaigns, social and email
• Turning specialist or dry topics into clear, compelling stories
• Adapting tone when needed, from authoritative to conversational
• Collaborating with marketers, designers and subject experts to bring ideas to life and drive increased applications and enrolments from UK and international students.
• Using our CRM to craft strong customer journeys
• Applying SEO techniques to increase visibility and drive traffic

What we’re looking for

• A natural storyteller with excellent written English
• Someone who writes for audiences, not at them
• A sharp eye for detail and a healthy respect for deadlines
• Confidence to suggest ideas - and the resilience to improve them after feedback
• Ability to adapt tone, style and approach for different audiences and channels
• Experience writing for digital channels (blogs, web pages, campaigns, social)
