About the role:

The Greenwich Business School Timetabling Team are responsible for overseeing the delivery of student timetables and room allocations for all teaching and ensuring the optimisation of space utilisation and provision of a high-quality service to staff and students.

The Faculty Timetabling Officer will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive academic timetabling service, providing essential support to both students and academic staff.

The postholder will work closely with the Faculty Senior Timetabling Officer to ensure that faculty requirements are met through the effective optimisation of the teaching schedule. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well organised, and detail-oriented, with strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.

You will be responsible for managing your own workload, ensuring that all key deadlines are achieved. The role requires excellent communication and proven problem-solving skills, alongside a clear commitment to delivering a high standard of service to all stakeholders.

Experience of undertaking large scale data gathering and information retrieval with the ability to balance competing demands and manage customer expectations. Good attention to detail even when working under pressure and to deadlines. Proven knowledge of a timetabling software package (e.g. Enterprise course planner or relevant to this)
