Are you a skilled digital content professional with a passion for creating engaging, user-focused web experiences?
We’re looking for a Web Content Publisher to join the Communications and Campaigns team within the Communications and Marketing service at Leeds Beckett University. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the university’s online presence by developing and maintaining high-quality digital content that supports our strategic goals around reputation, reach and student recruitment.
In this role, you will be responsible for building, publishing and maintaining engaging web content across the university’s digital platforms. Using our content management system, Sitecore, alongside HTML and CSS, you will create and manage webpages and microsites for a wide range of audiences, including prospective students, partners and colleagues across the university.
You will ensure that our website content is clear, accurate and engaging, with strong attention to user experience, accessibility and search optimisation. Working with colleagues across Communications and Marketing and the wider university, you will help develop content structures, intuitive navigation and logical hierarchies that make it easy for users to find the information they need.
As part of this role, you will contribute to the creation and editing of web copy, ensuring that content aligns with the university’s tone of voice, brand and content standards. You will optimise content for organic search, including SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), while ensuring pages perform effectively across all browsers and devices.
You will also play an important role in supporting colleagues across the university who contribute to the website. Acting as a key point of contact for website queries, you will provide guidance and training to help colleagues produce high-quality, accessible web content in line with the university’s style guide and digital standards.
Using digital analytics and performance insight, you will help review the effectiveness of content and make recommendations for improvement. Your work will support the continuous development of the university’s website to enhance the user experience and contribute to key priorities including student recruitment, research profile and reputation.
This is a hands-on role in a busy and collaborative team, requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
At Leeds Beckett, we value diverse perspectives and offer generous annual leave and strong support for professional development. Join a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality digital experiences that help connect our audiences with everything Leeds Beckett has to offer.
Closing date: Sunday 5th April 2026 (23:59) Please note that you will not be able to edit or submit a part-completed application form after the closing date.
