School of Nursing & Midwifery
Educating future leaders in healthcare delivery and related research is at the core of the school’s mission. The key goal is to empower nurses and midwives to be able to demonstrate the difference that they make to practice, and in doing so, to be able to respond accordingly to the leadership and professional challenges that they face every day. This is a research active school, evidenced by the success of the Skin Wounds, and Trauma (SWaT) Research Centre at RCSI. This centre specialises in cutting-edge research in the field of wound healing and tissue repair.
Objective of this post:
The school are seeking a Lecturers/Programme Directors to join the team, we are seeking applicants with a background in a number of areas. Candidates with experience in nursing practice and education in care of the older person nursing, diabetes and advanced nursing practice will have an advantage.
The post holders will help support the implementation of a range of nursing postgraduate specialist programmes. The principal objective of the posts is to lead and participate in the development, direction, teaching, facilitation and examining of each allocated programme. The successful candidates will assist with the delivery of the school’s curriculum in the multi-cultural environment of RCSI Dublin, ensuring academic quality and consistency across the RCSI campus.
