CJBS is a highly ranked modern business school that sits at the heart of the 800-year-old University of Cambridge, in juxtaposition of the past with the future. The Organisational Behaviour (OB) group is looking to recruit a research scholar in marketing at the Associate Professor or Assistant Professor level.

The Organisational Behaviour grooup's current research interests include the following topics:

  • leadership and emotions
  • psychometric measurement, big data, and people analytics
  • decision making
  • cross-cultural management
  • creativity and innovation
  • teams

Our group uses a variety of research methods, largely (but not exclusively) drawing on experimental, survey, archival, and qualitative data collected in international contexts. In addition to conducting basic research, the group is dedicated to making the translation from science to practice. We strongly encourage that scholarly publications are accompanied by practitioner publications documenting the implications of our basic scientific studies. 

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in organisational behaviour or a related discipline and will have a record of impactful research, evidenced by publications and a strong paper pipeline. They will possess excellent teaching experience in premium business school degree programs or executive education engagements. Project administration and dissertation supervision are also expected. The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, depending on the candidate's experience. Appointments may be made with or without tenure, depending on the candidate's record. For those appointed on a tenure track, a decision will be made within five years.
