The Creative Multi-Specialist (Singer-Songwriter) is a dynamic 3D-musician – Performer, Composer and Producer – and an inspiring educator and industry professional, who will teach and mentor across the programme, responsible for cultivating artistic development and innovation in high-level performance, composition and production.

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and versatile Creative Multi-Specialist (Singer-Songwriter) to join our thriving Popular Music department, working with some of the most talented and ambitious emerging artists in the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at one of the world’s leading conservatoires, shaping and inspiring a new generation of 3D musicians – artists who are equally skilled as performers, composers, and producers.

As part of our Performance team, you will support students in developing their vocal technique, songwriting, artistry, stagecraft, and musical identity, while encouraging experimentation and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and imaginative vocal specialist and singer-songwriter who can work across a range of styles and creative contexts, and an industry-active professional with experience across live performance, songwriting / composition, and studio production, with a passion for mentoring young artists and fostering innovation.

You will deliver individual and group teaching, collaborative performance projects, and interdisciplinary work within a progressive and diverse learning environment. A passion for artist development and nurturing originality is essential.

At the RNCM, we are committed to shaping the future of music through creativity, inclusivity, and excellence. If you are ready to inspire the next generation of original singer-songwriters, we want to hear from you.
