This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Computer Science/Data Science graduate to fast‑track their career through a prestigious Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the University of Salford and TSK Group, one of the UK’s leading workplace strategy, design, and build organisations.

The successful candidate will lead the development of the UK’s first AI‑powered product data platform for workplace design and build, a transformative system that automates sourcing, structuring, and validating product information across furniture, finishes, and building systems.

This KTP will be central to TSK’s strategic aim of becoming a national leader in sustainable, data‑driven workplace design, embedding cutting‑edge AI capability inside the business.

You will work full‑time at TSK Group’s Salford Quays headquarters whilst collaborating closely with academics from the University of Salford’s AI research group.

Key Responsibilities 

You will lead the technical development of a bespoke AI‑powered platform capable of:

  • Extracting structured data from supplier documents using ML/NLP/CV (Computer Vision)/OCR
  • Building a scalable product database and knowledge layer
  • Developing agentic‑based chatbot tools
  • Automating compliance, sustainability validation, and finishes schedules
  • Integrating outputs with BIM workflows (e.g. Revit) and TSK’s internal systems
  • Supporting user‑centric design, change management, and adoption across TSK

This is a multifaceted challenge requiring strong technical, organisational, and communication skills. You will work directly with TSK’s Digital Transformation, Design, and Sustainability teams, ensuring the solution fits real-world operational workflows.
