About the role
King’s College London is an internationally renowned university delivering exceptional education and world-leading research. The university is dedicated to driving positive and sustainable change in society and realising our vision of making the world a better place.
King’s Health Partners brings together research, education and clinical practice across the university and three NHS Foundation Trusts (King’s College London, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust).
The King’s Health Partners (KHP) Centre for Translational Medicine (CTM) is a strategic initiative to enhance translational research capabilities across the partnership, support innovation and accelerate better, more equitable outcomes for patients and communities served by KHP and beyond.
The CTM PPIE officer will join the core team of the KHP CTM and be responsible to the CTM PPIE manager. This role will support a variety of exciting and innovative PPIE activities across public involvement and engagement. This will include the coordination of our PPIE Advisory Panel, supporting researchers with PPIE workstreams, development of training, outreach events to engage with the public, building trusted relationships with the diverse community and supporting PPIE work on large strategic funding bids. The role holder will work to ensure the impact of the PPIE work is shared with internal and external stakeholders.
Throughout this role, the postholder will work closely with other teams across the university such as the King’s Clinical Academic Training Office (KCATO) and the King’s Engaged Researcher Network (KERN).
This is a full time (35 hours per week) role, and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027.
