Research Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to work with Dr Craig Lamont on the project “Memory and care experience in Scottish life-writing”.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

Candidates should have specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of Scottish Literature, English Literature, and/or Life-Writing Studies.

This post is part time (17.5 hours per week) and fixed term for up to 12 months until 31^st July 2027.

Work Location: Glasgow. Hybrid working (the ability to vary/mix the place of work - campus, remote hub, home etc with prior agreement) will be considered. However there will be in-person workshops across the year where attendance is required.
