We are looking for an AAT or equivalent qualified Finance Business Partner with significant experience of previously working within a finance team to provide financial support to the business areas within the University of Essex Campus Services Limited, with timely and accurate financial management information and forecasting.
Department
University of Essex Campus Services (UECS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University. UECS Finance Team is a small team providing finance support to the University of Essex Campus Services, UECS Ltd and Wivenhoe House Hotel (WHH) Ltd. The team supports a range of departments including Student Accommodation, Facilities Management, Essex Sport, Essex Food, The Day Nursery, Event Essex and Wivenhoe House Hotel.
The team is based on the Colchester Campus with University Finance colleagues and there are opportunities for hybrid working by arrangement.
The Finance Business Partner with work independently to produce high quality financial information whilst working closely with Business Managers to support the delivery of Campus Services objectives within approved budgets.
The University and its subsidiaries are operating in a challenging financial environment which requires timely and accurate financial information to support effective decision making.
Qualifications and Skills
You will be qualified to AAT or equivalent level with significant experience of previously working within a finance team, supporting the provision of timely and accurate financial information to non-finance managers. You will have good IT and spreadsheet skills and be comfortable working to tight timetables with a high degree of accuracy.
