Description of Post
The role of an Assistant Lecturer in Dietetics involves delivering high quality teaching and learning experiences to undergraduate and potentially postgraduate students, focusing on evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics. The position includes engaging in research and scholarly activities to advance the field, as well as contributing to academic administration, curriculum development, and quality assurance processes. This role plays a critical part in preparing future professionals in Dietetics, while maintaining strong connections to academic and professional standards.
Essential Qualifications
- An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher) in a relevant* Level 8 degree [as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)], or equivalent.
- Three years relevant post-qualification experience.
- Relevant qualification in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.
