We are looking for a collaborative and knowledgeable Senior Data and Systems Advisor to join our Data and Systems Team within People Services which will be fixed term contract up to 12 month.
The Data and Systems Team provides systems expertise and user support. We ensure that our HR and payroll systems operate effectively, remain compliant, and continue to meet the needs of the organisation. We work closely with colleagues in Colleges, Services and External Suppliers to resolve issues, deliver system improvements and support strategic projects.
We offer a friendly, knowledgeable and solution focused response. This may involve troubleshooting an issue, helping a colleague understand the system options available to them, or escalating a complex technical matter to internal IT or external system providers where appropriate.
You will be part of a collaborative, friendly and solution focused team that values innovation, continuous learning and excellent customer service. This is a varied role with opportunities to develop your technical, analytical and professional skills.
About you
We are looking for a confident and adaptable individual with experience working with HR or payroll systems in a large, complex organisation. You will be someone who enjoys problem solving, improving processes, data management and supporting others.
You will need excellent attention to detail. You will be working with sensitive staffing information and must have experience of handling data responsibly and in line with Data Protection regulations. You should be confident using reporting tools to extract, interpret and present data to a high standard.

This is a full-time, fixed-term post up to 12 months, working 37 hours per week.
