This is a full time, permanent position.

Lincoln Bishop University is located on a beautifully green and pleasant campus just a few minutes’ walk from Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, and the old Roman city. Our story began in the 1860s as an Anglican teacher training college for women, which makes us one of the oldest Higher Education Institutions in the UK. Since then, we've grown, adapted, and modernised to become the thriving university we are today. We're still experts in teaching and education, but we've now got a wider portfolio of exciting degree courses than ever before. We offer courses in a wide range of subjects, from Undergraduate Degree level to PhD, and much more in between.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced admissions professional to take on a senior operational leadership role at the heart of Lincoln Bishop University. As Admissions Manager, you will play a vital part in shaping how we attract, convert and admit students, ensuring a high‑quality, compliant and forward‑thinking admissions service.

The Admissions Manager is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the University’s student journey, with real influence over how applicants experience our institution from first enquiry to enrolment. You will provide operational leadership for all admissions activity, ensuring applications from the UK and overseas are processed accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Leading a dedicated Admissions team, you will balance high‑volume operational delivery with a strong focus on service quality, fairness and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Marketing and Student Recruitment colleagues, you will shape and deliver key conversion activity, including Clearing, Offer Holder Days and applicant communications. You will take ownership of admissions systems, processes and data, driving enhancements that improve efficiency, insight and applicant experience. You will also lead on international admissions, ensuring compliance while supporting the University’s ambitions in global recruitment. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring confident stakeholder engagement across academic teams, professional services and external partners.

This role is ideal for an experienced admissions professional who can bring a strong knowledge of admissions practice, excellent people‑management skills and the confidence to provide decisive advice across the organisation. In return, you’ll join a supportive, forward‑thinking team with the opportunity to shape strategy, introduce innovation and make a visible difference to the University’s success.

Lincoln Bishop University offers a generous employee benefits package including:

  • 25 days holiday for Grades 1-6
  • 35 days holiday for Grades 7+
  • Plus 3 additional discretionary days annual leave over the Christmas period
  • BG Flex (a private pension scheme managed by Aviva) offering a 10% employer contribution and the employee contributions are voluntary and flexible.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme including face to face counselling sessions
  • Agile Working Scheme to support employees work-life balance
