Applications are invited for a Senior Accountant within the Finance Directorate at The Glasgow School of Art.
This is a key senior role providing leadership across management accounting, financial planning and reporting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, the postholder will lead a team of professional finance staff, overseeing the production of management accounts, forecasting and the annual planning cycle. You will play a central role in strengthening financial governance, supporting major projects and contributing to the development of a modern, integrated finance function. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the School, you will provide expert financial advice, challenge and insight in a complex and dynamic environment. We are seeking a fully qualified accountant, or equivalent, with significant experience in management accounting, strong leadership capability and a proven ability to deliver clear, impactful financial information to a wide range of audiences.
