Saïd Business School is a vibrant and innovative business school, embedded within the world-renowned University of Oxford. Our Central Programme Services team plays a vital role in delivering a seamless, high-quality student experience across all degree and diploma programmes.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Assessment Manager to join our Assessment Team and support the delivery of assessment processes across a diverse portfolio of programmes. Reporting to the Senior Assessment Manager, you will provide essential administrative support for the planning, coordination and delivery of assessments. This includes examinations, coursework, presentations and other assessment formats that take place throughout the academic year.
You will work closely with faculty, examiners, programme teams and central University departments to ensure that all assessment processes are delivered accurately, securely and in line with University regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day delivery of assessment processes across programmes
- Coordinate assessment timetables and liaise with faculty, examiners and central University teams
- Maintain results systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with examination conventions
- Act as a key point of contact for assessment-related queries
- Ensure accurate data entry, reporting and record-keeping
You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in IT systems, including databases and Excel, is essential.
