The Health and Safety Support Officer is essential to delivering a comprehensive, professional and forward‑thinking administrative service. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with plenty of variety.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high‑quality executive and administrative support to the Head of Health and Safety.

  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of processes and online content.
  • Leading on training administration, first aid provision and accurate record‑keeping.
  • Analysing incident data to generate clear reports and performance insights.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of our systems and fostering effective working relationships across the University.

About you

This is an excellent opportunity to shape and continuously enhance the executive and administrative support provided to the Health and Safety Team. The role is well‑suited to a versatile, self‑motivated administrator with experience in a complex organisation.

You will be joining a positive, forward‑thinking team committed to keeping our community safe — and you will have opportunities to gain experience, develop and influence meaningful change.
