We are a world class research-intensive university. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality. We play a leading role in economic, social and cultural development of the North East of England. Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Education Coordinator to join the Faculty's Professional Services Team in the School of Pharmacy.
In this role, you will support the delivery of an excellent experience for our students and staff by contributing to key administrative activities across the academic year. Working as part of our friendly Education Team, you will collaborate closely with students, academic colleagues and central services, with a particular focus on placements and timetabling.
Your responsibilities will span the full student lifecycle - from recruitment and registration to assessment, progression and graduation. You will also support key academic processes and committees, with particular involvement in placements and timetabling.
If you are proactive, detail-focused, and keen to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.
The position is open-ended and offered on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) with an immediate starting date. The role is predominantly campus-based on the City Campus in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are committed to building and maintaining a fair and inclusive working environment and we would be happy to discuss arrangements for flexible and/or blended working.
