About the Role
Our receptionists represent the University at some of Oxford’s most prominent buildings, providing a warm, professional, and efficient front-of-house service to staff, students, and visitors. With the introduction of our new Dynamic Reception Support service, you will play a key role in delivering essential reception cover across the University—stepping in where support is needed most.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days look exactly the same and require the successful candidate to be comfortable with continual change. You might be welcoming guests, coordinating room bookings, issuing access cards, managing mail and deliveries, or assisting with small administrative tasks. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment and may be required to train as a first aider or fire marshal.
You will have the opportunity to work in different locations, bringing variety to your day and allowing you to connect with people from across the University.
