Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Applied and Computational Mathematics, within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics.
The School of Mathematics and Statistics at University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a temporary Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Applied and Computational Mathematics for approximately 4 years. Preference will be given to applicants whose research is in the area of high energy theory, black holes and applied holography, although applicants from all areas of Applied and Computational Mathematics are invited to apply.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute high quality research that broadens and integrates with current areas of Applied and Computational Mathematics research expertise in the School. The successful candidate will also be expected to be committed to pursuing excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across the School’s wide-ranging programmes, and to contribute to the development and delivery of new programmes.
95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €65,401 - €103,564 per annum.
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
