Are you an experienced project manager ready for your next opportunity and interested in playing a central role in one of the most innovative widening participation initiatives in UK medical education?
Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) is a joint venture between the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University, established in 2020 with a distinctive widening participation mission. We are developing a pioneering Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) programme, one of the first of its kind in the UK, which will create new pathways into medicine for high-achieving biomedical science students and directly address NHS workforce needs. The expected launch date for the pathway is September 2027.
Working closely with the Senior Lecturer (APL Lead) and colleagues across both partner universities, you will be key to making this ambition a reality and coordinating the complex multi-institutional workstreams that will bring this landmark programme to life.
Solutions-focused, you'll be able to build consensus, engagement and collaboration across stakeholders in finance, quality, marketing and governance as well as with academic colleagues in biomedical science, in both universities.
