About The Role
This full-time post is available from May 2026 on a fixed term basis to cover a maternity until April 2027. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.
The starting salary will be from £28,031 on Grade D, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home. This role has an expectation to work on the Streatham Campus on Tuesdays as a minimum. Other days will be required initially for training.
The Research Services Directorate is a key enabler to the delivery of the University's Research and Impact Strategy and meeting research income targets. You will be based within the PS Connect Research Finance pillar, in the Cluster Environment, Science and Economy and Humanities and Social Science faculties, situated at our Streatham campus.
You will provide support and quality assurance for all Research Finance activities including budget monitoring; financial stewardship for live grants; provision of live grant information to support grant holders; financial reporting to sponsors and other external bodies and grant administration. Research Finance staff are based at our Streatham and St Luke's Campuses, support activity in all Faculties and work closely with colleagues based in Cornwall.
