The Malta Campus, located in Gozo, delivers the same MBBS programme as Queen Mary’s London campus, with a strong emphasis on integrated clinical and academic teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about medical education and wish to play a key role in shaping the next generation of doctors.
We are seeking a highly motivated academic who has the commitment and ability to make an active contribution to the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London, Malta Campus.
The successful candidate will: Design and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across the MBBS programme; Contribute to curriculum development and innovation; Participate in assessment design and delivery; Support students in their academic and professional development
Applicants should hold a PhD, MBBS, or equivalent qualification, and demonstrate: a strong track record of excellence in teaching & commitment to student-centred education; Ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary academic team; Experience in assessment design and delivery will be considered an advantage; Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with experience in teaching clinically applied pharmacology.
The salary for appointment as Lecturer is set at Grade 5 (€49,323.92 - €53,670.92) + an annual Academic Allowance of €3,000.
The salary for appointment as Senior Lecturer is set at Grade 4 (€54,084.92 - €58,431.92) + an annual Academic Allowance of €5,500.
