We are a world class research-intensive university. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality. We play a leading role in economic, social and cultural development of the North East of England. Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.
The Role
Based in the School of Pharmacy you will participate fully in the School's range of teaching and research activities. You should have experience of teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students and be able to contribute specialist knowledge relevant to pharmaceutics/drug delivery within a pharmacy provision that complements the growing teaching and research interests of the School. We are particularly interested in attracting individuals who have substantial experience of working within a School of Pharmacy or equivalent industrial experience.
The School of Pharmacy benefits from being an integral part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences with strong teaching and research links to colleagues in medicine, biomedical sciences, dentistry, psychology and chemistry, alongside our three research institutes: the Biosciences Institute (NUBI), the Population and Health Sciences Institute (PHSI) and the Translational and Clinical Research Institute (TCRI).
Prospective applicants who wish to discuss the appointment informally should contact Prof Andy Husband (Head of School), andy.husband@newcastle.ac.uk.
