About Us
This role is based within the Department of Population Health Sciences. The Department combines over 160 experts with patients and the public to better understand population health and primary care, social sciences and policy, epidemiology, statistics and health economics. You will be a member of the Rehabilitation and Health Research Group and support excellence in health and care research. This role will involve close partnership with project collaborators from the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Workforce at KCL, and Universities of Sussex, Brighton, Leeds and Dundee.
About the role
We are looking for a Research Assistant to support the delivery of the NIHR-funded OPINIONS (Optimising foot care interventions for older adults living in care homes) project. This role will involve liaising with care home sites to coordinate data collection, participant recruitment, conducting qualitative interviews with participants (via in-person, telephone or video call), maintaining accurate study records, undertaking data analysis, and supporting public and stakeholder involvement.
The post holder will work closely with the project group and wider study team to ensure delivery in accordance with the approved protocol, and regulatory requirements. The post holder will contribute to high-quality data collection and the smooth day-to-day running of project.
The post holder will work as part of the research team and will be based at King’s College London, with some travel expected.
This is a part time post (0.5 WTE), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 12-months after appointment, starting no later than the 1st August 2026.
