About the role
This is an exciting time to join the Student Counselling and Mental Health Advice Service at Imperial College! We have been investing heavily in our Service to better support our students through university life. We have grown from a small team to a diverse and multifaceted group of over forty-one professionals striving to deliver the best experience possible for our students.
As a Student Mental Health Advisor, you will provide specialist, evidence-based support to Imperial students with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, helping them to engage with their studies and thrive at university. You will assess risk, develop safety/support plans, and liaise across NHS and College services to ensure coordinated care and safeguarding. You will also contribute to training and good practice across the university community.
