About this role
We’re looking for a Communications Officer to lead on communications to our residents in accommodation.
The Student Communications Team, within the Student Recruitment and Marketing Department, supports all university-level communications with our students. We work across all areas and levels of the university to develop and create engaging content; curate messaging across multiple print and digital channels; and run numerous strategic multi-channel, student-facing campaigns throughout the year.
About you
We're looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills, with an eye for detail - somebody who wants to know and understand the student experience and support our diverse student body to stay happy and healthy whilst at university. Somebody who understands how good communication makes an impact on our students and someone who is able to work with the Accommodation Team to deliver change at a local level.
The successful candidate will be an excellent copywriter with experience of creating engaging content that is tailored to your audience. You'll have experience of turning an idea into reality, as you'll be expected to personally manage small-scale projects. You'll develop and deliver communications using digital platforms, so you'll have strong technical skills, and you'll be comfortable working to strict deadlines. In return, you'll play a vital role in ensuring UWE Bristol students are at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll spend most of your time on campus, typically three days per week, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
