Chester Medical School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lecturer in Clinical Skills and Simulation to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of its MBChB Graduate Entry Medicine programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly established and expanding Medical School, delivering a contemporary four-year programme designed to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for modern medical practice.
Role Summary
The postholder will contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of teaching, learning, and assessment in clinical skills, communication, and simulation. Working under the direction of the Clinical Skills and Simulation Lead, the successful candidate will support the provision of high-quality, consistent teaching across campus and partner sites.
The role also involves contributing to the development and quality assurance of assessments, including Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), and ensuring alignment with the standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC).

About the Programme
The MBChB Graduate Entry Medicine programme commenced in September 2024 and is delivered through a case-based learning model, developed in collaboration with an established UK medical school partner. Teaching is supported by a purpose-built clinical skills, simulation, and anatomy facility, alongside a wide network of clinical placement providers across hospital and community settings.
