Brunel University London is a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education for the allied health professions and associated subject areas. We have Occupational Therapy pre-registration programmes at BSc and MSc level plus post graduate opportunities. Our pre-registration MSc programme is the only programme outside America to be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). Role description and essential person specification competencies
To develop and contribute to high quality learning, teaching and research in Occupational Therapy and to provide leadership and academic capacity. To seek to develop and maintain progressive research partnerships between the Occupational Therapy and key collaborators and health research bodies.
Accountable for academic management and administration of learning and teaching programmes delivered by the occupational therapy team and other departments as directed. To provide high quality student support through personal tutoring and other activities as directed. Publication of high-quality research outputs and attainment of research grant income in line with subject benchmarks.

The Occupational Therapy Curriculum is underpinned by person centred care, and we have four threads that guide our teaching and module delivery: Enabling Occupation, Professionalism and Development, Evidence-based Practice and Research and Placements.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD or be near completion and registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will have experience of working in the profession including in-depth and up-to-date technical and applied knowledge.
